The work on the Dakota is progressing rapidly. The outer wing sections and tailplane have left the paint shop to be replaced by the fuselage. The existing paint is being removed prior to the respray in WW II lend-lease colours. The condition of the airframe is surprisingly good considering the age of the aircraft and the hard working life that it has experienced. Air Atlantique have sourced engines and propellers, and they will fit these at a later date.
