Here is part of the original manufacturers drawing showing the wing centre-section main spar and leading edge as being constructed and fitted to the Trust aircraft as shown above.

I popped into work today and stopped off at 5 Hangar to take a look at the progress being made on the Horsa. The team have been working hard while I've been away and the difficult job of recreating the three-dimensional centre-section is coming along nicely. Although the fuselage is still resting on trestles, the main undercarriage has been mounted and soon the glider will be standing on it's own gear.

The Waco is looking good with detail work taking place in the cockpit region and in the fuselage. The standard of work is exceptional and whilst it will never fly, it is being rebuilt to flight standard.
