The preservation and cataloguing of the artifacts recovered from Operation Freshman Horsa DP349 has reached the stage where photographs can be made available on the website. Identification of the objects can be a difficult and time consuming task, matching the parts to originals plans and drawings and cross-checking the part number to confirm the purpose of the item. The photographs below mostly represent the larger items recovered from the crash site and many of these have been identified. Although not every picture has a caption, these will be posted in due course. I consider that it is better to publish these pictures as they are, rather than wait until the whole cataloguing process is complete. Click on the thumbnails to view a larger picture.
