10/06/2007 Veterans Day 2008 The Assault Glider Trust Veterans Day event will take place on Sat and Sun 5-6 July 2008. This will be a joint event organised by RAF Shawbury and the Assault Glider Trust and will replace the 2 open weekends that have been held in the past in March and September. The event will allow Veterans, their familes and members of the public to meet and commemorate the military service of the Veterans with the Assault Glider Trust exhibition as a central theme. This will be a bigger event that the previous open weekends and will include RAF, Army and Royal Navy participation. Further details of this event will follow. The Webmaster
