A vast amount has been written about Assault Gliders, Airborne Troops, and associated operations. Some books are factual and are of great value in themselves. However, it is the personal stories told by those who experienced going into battle by glider that are the most memorable. If you would like to know more about the reasons why the Assault Glider Project exists, then the following books are recommended. Some may be out of print, but might be found either in public libraries or via second-hand book sellers on the internet. If you can recommend any books to add to the list, please send details by Email
