Visit by His Royal Highness The Duke of Kent

On Tuesday 27 May 2003, His Royal Highness the Duke of Kent visited RAF Shawbury. During the visit he met Airborne veterans and the project workforce, and inspected the Horsa display. The Duke of Kent served with the Royal Scots Greys in a military career that spanned 21 years, and his interest in the project is a great boost to all those involved.
